Katie Price Abruptly Ends Podcast After Receiving Police Call on Lee Andrews Case
Katie Price Ends Podcast Early After Police Call

Katie Price was forced to end her podcast early after receiving a phone call from the police, in a dramatic twist to the ongoing Lee Andrews missing person case. The 47-year-old reality star has been providing regular updates on social media since her husband disappeared last week, leaving her with desperate last messages from Dubai that led her to believe he had been kidnapped.

Podcast Cut Short

During the latest episode of The Katie Price Show, which she records over the phone with her sister Sophie, the conversation took an unexpected turn. Normally lasting between 40 and 45 minutes, the episode titled My Tentacles Are Up, I’m Not Stupid ended abruptly after just 33 minutes. In the final moments, the sisters were answering listener questions when Sophie asked: ‘Who would survive longer camping with festival toilets?’ After a long silence, the podcast cut to Sophie announcing: ‘Sorry for that intermission, Kate has had to shoot off because she is taking a call from the police, so that is it for today’s episode.’

Update on Lee Andrews

Earlier in the podcast, Katie offered an update on the situation, saying her ‘brain has just been bonkers’. She continued: ‘There’s nothing more for me to say aside from the police are now handling it. The British police, the British consulate, the Foreign Office, and Interpol. They are all on the case now, looking for Lee, and a lot of people didn’t think this was serious; they still don’t think it is serious, so I have decided from today. There is absolutely nothing more I can do, nothing more I can say and now the police are dealing with it, I’m just leaving it to the police.’

Reiterating her distress and trust in the authorities, she said she had to carry on with her life. ‘For my own sanity, I’m taking a step back,… I don’t know what’s true, what’s not true,’ she added. ‘I’ve got so many exciting things coming up, and I’m not letting this ruin anything.’ She concluded: ‘I’ve been in situations with men so many times that I would never let a man break me down and make me ill, mentally. It will never happen again.’

Background on Lee Andrews

Since marrying Katie, Lee has faced a series of accusations. He reportedly claimed to be a multi-millionaire business owner, but his profile was later exposed as a farce, with AI-generated photos and a company website lacking information. He was banned from leaving Dubai due to an alleged fraud case involving a mortgage taken out in his ex-girlfriend's name. The couple also teased a fake pregnancy, which Katie later confirmed was not true. Multiple exes accused him of being a ‘liar, narcissist and manipulator’, and he allegedly begged women for money before marrying Katie. Reports suggest he may have ‘ghosted’ his wife and is squatting in a run-down villa in Dubai, using a burner phone.

Sophie declared that her ‘priority is always Kate and the family’, adding that she ‘has her own views and doesn’t need to air them’. Sources close to the family told The Sun that Katie’s family are ‘absolutely thrilled’ that Lee has exited her life and ‘hope it stays that way’. The insider continued: ‘They are especially relieved that he never made it to the UK to meet her children or embed himself into her home and life. They are counting their lucky stars and all their dreams have come true.’
