The family of a mother and her two daughters who were discovered dead at their home has spoken of their 'unimaginable loss'. Natalie, 15, and Nala, five, were found alongside their mother, Nothabo Zandile Tshuma, at a property near Bedford on Monday. Police forced entry into the house after reports that the family had not been seen for several days.
Suspect named
Bedfordshire Police have named Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma, also known as Mark, as a murder suspect. He is the husband of Zandile and the father of the two girls. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are appealing for information from the public.
Community in shock
The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community. Neighbors described the family as quiet and private, with no indication of any trouble. One resident said, 'It's just devastating. We can't believe something like this could happen here.'
Police have not yet released details of how the three died, pending post-mortem examinations. A cordon remains in place around the property, and forensic teams are conducting examinations.
Family tribute
In a statement, the family said: 'Our hearts are broken. We have lost three beautiful souls in the most tragic circumstances. We ask for privacy as we try to come to terms with this unimaginable loss.'
Friends have set up a memorial outside the home, leaving flowers and messages of condolence. A fundraiser has also been launched to support the family with funeral costs.
