Court coordinator Matthew Austin informed the hearing that Ms. Biscoe was found with serious traumatic injuries to her neck, which were suspected to have been caused by one of the family's dogs. Essex senior coroner Lincoln Brookes announced he had received a written request from Essex Police to suspend coronial proceedings while a criminal investigation is ongoing.
