Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) is taking deadly action to rid her family of Ross Wilkes (Ian Burfield), the man who sexually exploited her as a teenager and fathered her son Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall). After a brief, drunken encounter where Cassie did not initially recognise him, Ross later appeared in Weatherfield after Tyrone's daughters tracked him down via DNA testing. Cassie is now determined to expose Ross's true nature.
Cassie's Dark Past Revealed
When Cassie was in her early teens, she fell in with the wrong crowd and was forced into prostitution. One of her abusers was Ross, who made her pregnant with Tyrone. Cassie gave birth, but Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) left baby Tyrone on a police station doorstep, leading to his adoption by Jackie and Darren. Now, Ross's return forces Cassie to confront this trauma.
Uploading to Ex-Boyfriend App
In upcoming scenes, Cassie uploads Ross's photo to an app where users post reviews of ex-boyfriends, hoping to find horror stories to show Tyrone. She tells Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) about her plan, but Steve advises her to delete it. Tyrone's Growing Bond with His Father
Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone, explained: 'At first, Tyrone really tries—he even goes and plays golf with him, despite having a horrendous back injury. He eventually starts to see a father figure there; he's an imposing chap, but quite laid back. Tyrone starts to think, “Actually, this guy seems all right, and I could go for a beer with my dad.”' However, Halsall teased that this dynamic may not last: 'He looks at his dad and thinks, “I've got a father in my life now, and nothing can go wrong.” But we know that's not the case, certainly in Tyrone's life. He knows full well what kind of trouble and lies this guy could bring to his doorstep.'

Cassie's explosive exit storyline has been confirmed, with her facing the wrath of a demon. If Ross gets wind of her app post, she could be in grave danger. Viewers will see whether Cassie heeds Steve's advice or continues her risky campaign to protect her family.
