British Transport Police have released an image of a man they wish to identify after an assault at Acton Main Line railway station in West London. The incident unfolded around 6pm on Sunday, July 19, when a man tailgated through the station's ticket barriers, shoving a man in his 50s to force his way through.
The victim was then followed to a nearby shop, where the suspect slapped him in the face. Police believe the man pictured may have information crucial to their investigation.

Officers are urging anyone who recognises the man to come forward. They can text British Transport Police (BTP) on 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 498 of 19 July. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
The assault has raised concerns about passenger safety at the station, which serves both the Elizabeth line and Great Western Railway services. Acton Main Line has seen increased footfall in recent years due to nearby residential developments.
