One person has died and two others have been taken to hospital following a stabbing in Shepherd's Bush, West London, on Tuesday morning (August 18). The London Ambulance Service received a call at 8:22 am reporting a stabbing on Askew Road, W12.
Emergency Response and Casualties
Ambulance crews, police, and an air ambulance arrived at the scene within five minutes of the call. Emergency services treated three people at the location: two were transported to local hospitals, while a third was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of medical teams.
The Metropolitan Police attended the incident and established a significant cordon along the busy Shepherd's Bush Road. A forensics tent was also observed at the scene. Police have not yet confirmed whether any arrests have been made, and MyLondon has contacted the Met for further details.

A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8.22am today to reports of a stabbing on Askew Road, W12. We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance. Our first crews arrived in less than five minutes. We treated three people in total. We took two patients to hospital but sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a patient was pronounced dead at the scene.”

The incident has prompted a police investigation, with the cordon remaining in place to allow forensic teams to examine the area. Local residents have been advised to avoid the vicinity while inquiries continue.
