A man in his 20s has died following a shooting outside a busy pub in Clapham, south London, on Monday night. The incident occurred at approximately 10pm on Landor Road, near The Landor pub, prompting a large emergency response. One local resident told London Now: “It was shortly after 10pm and I heard lots of sirens, and I heard bangs – I think it was five or something. And then I said ‘do you think they were gunshots?’”
The London Ambulance Service confirmed they were called at 9:59pm on Monday 10 August to reports of a shooting on Landor Road, SW9. A spokesperson stated: “We sent resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and paramedics in fast response cars. We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance. Our first paramedics arrived in three minutes.”
Victim pronounced dead at the scene
