Police have established a crime scene along a major road in Leyton following reports of a stabbing on Saturday morning (August 22).
Photos seen by MyLondon show police tape cordoning off a stretch of the High Road close to the Master Poulet chicken shop. The incident was reported near Coronation Gardens, and an air ambulance was recorded landing at Leyton County Cricket Ground at 8.44am.
Police cordon and emergency response
The cordon covers a car on the High Road, with police tape visible in images. The air ambulance landing at the cricket ground suggests the severity of the incident, though no official confirmation has been provided yet.
Traffic website Inrix and The AA have not reported any diversions, so it is unclear if London buses are affected. The Met Police and London Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
