Armed police officers were deployed to a housing estate in Hackney following reports that a man was stabbed during a fight involving a group of men. The incident occurred at Fellows Court in Haggerston, where emergency services arrived at around 9am on September 25. Police believe the victim, who was knifed during the altercation, had left the scene before help arrived.

Ring camera footage captured officers carrying guns as they searched the halls of the North Tower block. A witness reported seeing blood “all over the foyer” of the building. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that a cordon was set up around Fellows Court while initial enquiries were carried out.
Photos from the estate show blue-and-white tape sealing off the ground floor of the tower block, the Happy Nest nursery, and adjacent properties. The cordon remained in place as officers conducted their investigation.
Arrest Made in Connection with the Incident
A 39-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm in connection with the stabbing. As of Friday evening, the suspect remained in police custody. The Metropolitan Police have not released further details about the victim’s condition or the circumstances leading up to the fight.
