Two teenagers have been arrested following a machete attack in a park in Uxbridge, London. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that a man in his 50s was taken to hospital after the incident.
Emergency services were called to Cowley Recreation Ground, adjacent to the high street, at approximately 2:40pm on September 25 following reports of an altercation. Upon arrival, paramedics treated the injured man and transported him to a hospital for further medical attention. According to a statement from the Metropolitan Police, his condition is not life-threatening or life-changing.
Arrests and Charges
Officers arrested two boys, aged 15 and 17, on suspicion of attempted robbery, grievous bodily harm, and possession of an offensive weapon. They were taken into custody, where they remain as of the latest reports.
The London Ambulance Service dispatched multiple resources to the scene, including London's Air Ambulance. A spokesperson for the service said: "We were called at 2:49pm today (25 September) to reports of a stabbing on Uxbridge High Street, UB8. We sent ambulance crews, an incident response officer and dispatched London’s Air Ambulance. We treated a patient at the scene and took them to a local hospital by road."

The Metropolitan Police is appealing for witnesses to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact them.
