Imi Angelica, a 23-year-old OnlyFans creator from Harrow, has responded to critics of her suggestive stunts on the London Underground by telling them to 'get a life'. She claims to earn up to £30,000 per month from her content, which has enabled her to stop living 'pay cheque to pay cheque'.
From dog walking to webcamming
Angelica began her career working with dogs before a friend introduced her to webcamming. That initial venture allowed her to leave her 9-to-5 job when she started 'clearing about £6,000 per month'. However, she said 'sitting in front of a camera got boring', prompting her move to OnlyFans, where she now makes up to £30,000 in some months.
She charges a monthly subscription fee of £3.99 and sells additional content in private chats. 'I make more through messaging than I do through subscription,' she explained. Her earnings rose significantly in March this year after she 'got out of her comfort zone' with the content she was filming.
Tube stunts and landmarks
Angelica told MyLondon that posing near public landmarks, including around Camden, boosted her profile because 'people recognise them'. This extended to her 'niche' content of posing in revealing outfits on the London Underground, which she said made her 'stand out' compared to other creators.
Her best-performing content is filmed on the Northern line because it has the most recognisable landmarks, such as Camden, London Bridge, Waterloo, and Tottenham Court Road. She also films footage on escalators in Tube stations. Angelica said she is always aware of her surroundings and never films or takes photographs when children are present, and she claims she never crosses the boundary to indecent exposure or outraging public decency.
Backlash and family reactions
While her parents would prefer she was 'on a different career path', they accept her choice. However, some other relatives no longer speak to her, and she has faced 'losing friendships and relationships' since joining OnlyFans. Despite this, Angelica said she has no regrets.
She describes her work as 'the same as being self-employed' and emphasised that spending '19 hours a day' on her phone filming content and replying to messages means it 'definitely isn't glamorous'. She said: 'I probably work more hours than the average person. In the evening I’m out until stupid o’clock at night filming reels. I'm up messaging people on OnlyFans 24/7. I'm constantly on my phone.'
TfL and police response
A Transport for London (TfL) spokesperson said: 'We were not previously aware of this footage. All customers using our services are required to adhere to our railway byelaws, which clearly state that no person shall behave in a disorderly, indecent or offensive manner on the railway.'
British Transport Police (BTP) has also launched numerous appeals to crack down on sex offenders on the network, including men filming and upskirting women on trains and escalators. Angelica denied that her content could be seen to give acceptance to those crimes. 'Get a life, you're not making enough money if you're focusing on what I'm doing,' she said. 'I don't worry about what people see on the internet. I'm worried about what I do. If anyone was to think it's encouraging [upskirting], I don't care what those people think.'
Angelica said she made this choice to put herself in a 'better position in life' but has found it difficult to find a boyfriend who accepts what she does. She added that her OnlyFans content is a stepping stone, and long-term she wants to set up her own kennels and train badly behaved dogs.
