Katie Price confirms Lee Andrews wants a hair transplant amid speculation
Katie Price: Lee Andrews wants hair transplant

Katie Price has confirmed that her husband Lee Andrews wants a hair transplant, addressing weeks of intense online speculation about his changing hairstyle. On the latest episode of The Katie Price Show podcast, the former glamour model dismissed rumors that Andrews had already undergone a secret procedure, stating he simply intends to get one in the future.

Lee Andrews' hair becomes a talking point

Price began by addressing the headlines surrounding Andrews, clarifying that he did not go to Turkey for a hair transplant. 'First of all, of course, he didn’t go to Turkey, he was missing, then was in prison, he’s had an ordeal,' she said. She noted that while the full story of Andrews' disappearance and imprisonment in Dubai is not hers to share, she expects he will eventually speak about it himself. 'In terms of what happened, I’m sure one day he’ll talk about it,' she added.

Turning to the hair speculation, Price stated: 'He does want a hair transplant, and he will get a hair transplant, so that is that.' She insisted there was little more to say, despite social media becoming obsessed with Andrews' fuller-looking hair after he resurfaced online following his release from prison. 'There’s not really anything to say about his hair,' she said. 'But if people want to pick on his hair…'

Price questions double standards on cosmetic procedures

Price questioned why men's cosmetic procedures attract so much attention compared to women's. 'Why is it when men, in general, have surgery, hair transplants, or anything like that, no one says anything, but when us women do, “Oh, it’s this, it’s that”? Who cares if you’re bettering yourself with anything?' She argued that hair restoration should be treated no differently, adding that she sees many men getting hair transplants on flights back from Turkey. 'So what if people want to look better for themselves? I’m all for it, same as I am for women.'

She compared the treatment to hair extensions, which she uses. 'I have hair extensions. What’s wrong with that? Most girls have hair extensions. No one goes on about having fake hair put in for hair extensions.'

Weeks of speculation and family input

The comments follow weeks of speculation about Andrews' appearance. When he reappeared on social media after his Dubai release, many followers focused on his hair rather than his disappearance. Some suggested he had a secret hair transplant, while others wondered about a wig or hairpiece. Rumors intensified after claims that Andrews allegedly visited a Dubai salon to inquire about a permanent wig but decided not to proceed.

Even Price's sister, Sophie Price, weighed in during an earlier podcast episode. Asked about Andrews' hairstyle, Sophie said: 'No, it’s not my vibe.' Katie defended her husband, but Sophie remained unconvinced, calling the look 'a ridiculous, f***ing liberty.' Now, Katie appears keen to end the follicular frenzy, reiterating that Lee hasn't had a hair transplant yet—he just plans to.
