Jade Thirlwall splits from Jordan Stephens after 6 years

Jade Thirlwall and Jordan Stephens have reportedly parted ways after six years together, according to a source close to the couple. The Little Mix star, 33, and the Rizzle Kicks icon, 34, first started dating in 2020 and have since lived together between London and Margate as they both continued pursuing their creative careers. However, it is understood that their steadfast romance came to an end earlier this year, although the pair remain amicable despite it 'not being an easy time'.

Source reveals split details

A source told The Sun: 'Jade and Jordan had a very serious and loving relationship, but recently they have had some frank discussions about their future and have decided to separate.' They continued: 'It's not been an easy time, but they've both been throwing themselves into work. Their friends adore them as a couple and are really hoping they get back together, but it's still very raw at the moment.'

It has been several months since the pair have been publicly spotted together, last seen partying at the Brit Awards in February. The same month, the couple also appeared in an episode of Michael McIntyre's Big Show where they were joking about weddings. Since then, however, it's been a different story.

Signs of the split

Last month, Jade notably attended close friend and bandmate Perrie Edwards' wedding alone. Meanwhile, neither of them marked their sixth anniversary on social media, something they had done the year before. Jade and Jordan are yet to publicly address their relationship status.

They first met over social media (after a classic 'sliding into the dms') and had a very Covid-themed start to their romance as they video called each other and even went on a socially distanced walk.

Career developments

The past few years have seen huge career moves for both of them, with Jade launching her successful solo career in 2024 while Jordan brought back Rizzle Kicks with his other half, Harley. And just last month, Jordan officially took over from Lily Allen as co-host of the Miss Me? podcast alongside his friend, Miquita Oliver.
