Three more men have been charged with murder following the fatal shooting of a man in a car in east London, the Metropolitan Police has confirmed.
Masum Miah, 42, was discovered with gunshot wounds in a vehicle on St Bartholomew’s Road, East Ham, on August 18. Officers were called to the scene at approximately 3pm after reports of a shooting, and Mr Miah was pronounced dead at the scene.
Charges and court appearances
Friman Intasse, 18, of High Street, Sittingbourne, Kent, has been charged with murder and appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday. He was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey on Friday.
Renars Ludins, 47, of no fixed address, was charged with murder on August 29 and appeared in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court. He is due to appear at the Old Bailey on May 17 next year.
Mihai Stancu, 36, of Charlton Crescent in Barking, east London, was charged with murder on September 8. He appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court the following day and was also ordered to appear in custody at the Old Bailey on May 17.
Investigation and appeal
Detective Chief Inspector Dan Whitten, who is leading the investigation, said: “Our thoughts remain with Masum’s family as they come to terms with his tragic death.
“We are continuing to appeal to anyone with information that could assist our enquires to come forward.”
Sergiu Leahu, 40, of no fixed address, was previously charged with murder in August and has been sent for trial at the Old Bailey.
