Holly Willoughby Slams Porn for Unrealistic Body Depictions

Holly Willoughby has criticised the porn industry for its unrealistic portrayal of women's bodies, specifically calling for more representation of 'normal fannies.' The 45-year-old former This Morning host made the remarks during an intimate interview on her new YouTube series, Holly Willoughby Together, with OnlyFans content creator Lily Phillips.

Willoughby Calls Out Porn's Unrealistic Standards

During the conversation, Willoughby addressed a key concern she has with the adult film industry. 'This is the problem, I think because… women watching porn are only seeing certain vaginas and vulvas and they're going: “Oh they're all meant to be beautiful”… then you see your own and you're like “Oh my gosh”,' she said, referring to the presence of 'extra skin.' She added, 'It's actually what women's bodies look like. My big issue with porn is where I just go: “Please just show normal fannies.”'

Phillips, 24, agreed with Willoughby's stance. The NSFW influencer, who gained notoriety for a stunt where she slept with 101 men in a day, shared that she had undergone a 'designer vagina' procedure, specifically a labiaplasty, which the NHS website notes can cost up to £4,000. Phillips said she 'regretted [the surgery] slightly' because she could have been 'that representation in the adult industry for the big labia community.'

Phillips Opens Up About Surgery and Insecurities

When Willoughby asked why she felt the need to have the surgery, Phillips explained it was for 'personal' reasons, driven by her 'own insecurity' when she started OnlyFans at age 19. She admitted that 'watching porn' may have influenced her decision. Phillips added that she 'tries to be open and honest' about her surgery with her audience, a approach Willoughby appreciated.

Phillips described her upbringing in Derbyshire as 'fairly run-of-the-mill' and discussed her early fascination with the adult industry. The conversation also touched on the challenges of sex work, including the unpleasantness of 'sex marathons,' her 'friendship' with Bonnie Blue, and the broader troubles within the adult industry.

Willoughby's New YouTube Venture

Willoughby's new show, launched after her departure from ITV's This Morning, features intimate sit-down interviews with stars such as Stanley Tucci and the Spice Girls. In a previous episode, she recalled an embarrassing live TV moment from the early 2000s when her vest top popped open while dancing with the hypnotised boy band Blue, leaving her breast exposed. She joked that the incident landed her on page 3 of The Sun.

Willoughby's comments on porn come amid her broader push for authentic representation, as she continues to build her independent media presence following her exit from daytime television.
