The recall affects one-pint, one-litre, and two-litre bottles with a best-before date of July 31, 2026, sold at major UK supermarkets including Tesco, Asda, and Morrisons.
Health risk for antibiotic-allergic consumers
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) stated that the milk is 'unsafe to consume and may be a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to antibiotics'. The company urged shoppers not to consume the product and to return it to the store for a full refund. In a statement, Graham's Family Dairy said: 'At Graham's Family Dairy we believe that the quality of our products and the safety of our consumers is paramount… This is a precautionary measure we have taken as there is a small risk a trace level of antibiotics may be present in the milk which could cause a reaction to consumers with an allergy to antibiotics.'
