Subtle signs escalate into a collapse
Gabby's fixation on clean eating has been growing, but her family and friends have not recognised the severity. She stops her son from eating a frozen lolly, believing it to be too impure, and prevents him from attending a friend's birthday party due to the food being served. These small actions have gone unnoticed. Gabby's new boyfriend Billy (Jay Kontzle), who works in the fitness and nutrition industry, inadvertently supports her habits, reinforcing her behaviour.
Dawn finds Gabby unconscious
While posting about her clean eating on social media, Gabby feels dizzy but ignores it. Soon after, Dawn finds her unconscious on the kitchen floor. Dawn urges Gabby to see GP Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker), and Gabby agrees. However, Manpreet does not identify the problem. She notes Gabby's low blood pressure and considers pregnancy as a possible cause, but tests rule that out. Gabby does not believe she has an issue.
Gabby stops birth control, alarming Dawn
Despite the collapse, Gabby continues her healthy living crusade and makes a worrying decision: she stops taking her birth control. Dawn, who is uncomfortable with Gabby dating Billy, is alarmed.
