This mirrors a broader trend in the porn industry, where 'people's preferences are becoming increasingly detailed and personal,' said Cat Lygate, head of creative, community and education at Ersties. 'Ten years ago, viewers were mostly searching for broad categories, whereas today they're looking for very specific moments, body parts or camera angles that make a scene feel tailored to their own tastes.'

Ersties shared examples of viewer requests, including: 'I'd love to see more playful food-themed content that incorporates butt cracks,' and 'I'd really like to see performers undress more slowly so there's more time to appreciate the butt crack before the scene gets going.'
