The teaser opens with a steady thrumming sound, resembling a rapidly beating heart. Dr Abbott (Shawn Hatosy) addresses his night-shift staff, saying, 'Nightcrawlers – let's clear up this ward and show day shift how it's done,' as the day shift begins to arrive.
