A fresh fan theory proposes that Susan Boyle’s recent transformation could be hinting at a covert Cornetto advertisement, hidden in plain sight. The Britain’s Got Talent star caused a stir this week as she returned to social media with a completely new look.
The Transformation
The singer, who became famous on the reality show in 2009, had previously wiped her Instagram account, naturally fueling speculation about a major music comeback. In new photos, the 65-year-old wears a long brown fur coat over a trendy velour tracksuit as she struts across a street. She added glamour with oversized sunglasses, a fierce stare, and a newly cropped blonde bob with fringe.
Among the new images is a back shot revealing the title of her new song – Just One.
The Conspiracy Theory
Besides a flood of adoring comments, this has sparked a surprising conspiracy theory linking Susan to the popular ice cream brand. Writing on X, SuperTV24 stated: “I don’t want to disappoint the entire globe, but I think Susan Boyle is teasing a collab… with Cornetto.” They laid out their case: “It’s 40 years since their OG iconic advert, it’s the font, the colours, the use of #ad on her posts… and what’s better than an ice cream when you’re Susan Boyling?”
Indeed, Cornetto’s social media account reacted to her post with a pair of eyeball emojis. The phrase “just one” also appears in the lyrics of the iconic 1981 Cornetto advert, sung to the tune of ‘O Sole Mio. Furthermore, the font on the back of Susan’s hoodie matches that of the Walls ice cream brand.
