The Reading Festival, Britain's longest-running music festival, returns from Friday, August 28, to Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Little John's Farm on Richfield Avenue in central Reading. This year's lineup dazzles with headliners including Charli XCX, Fontaines D.C., Dave, RAYE, Chase & Status, and Florence and the Machine. Since 1971, the festival has been a staple of live music, and 2026 promises to be no exception.

Friday, August 28: Charli XCX and Fontaines D.C.

The opening day features co-headliners Charli XCX, the UK powerpop sensation, and Irish rock band Fontaines D.C., alongside special guest Skepta. Other acts include Declan McKenna, Geese, Skye Newman, Josh Baker, and James Marriott.

Saturday, August 29: Dave and RAYE

Day two sees Londoners Dave and RAYE headlining, with special guests Sombr and Gunna. The lineup also features The Viagra Boys, Max Dean, Luke Dean, Mall Grab, Jade Thirwall, and Rossi.

Sunday, August 30: Chase & Status and Florence and the Machine

The final day boasts headliners Chase & Status and Florence and the Machine, with special guests Loyle Carner and Role Model. Other performers include Kneecap, Men I Trust, Kettama, Chris Stussy, and Hybrid Minds.

Non-camping full weekend tickets are priced at £295, with a £50 deposit and three-instalment payment plan. Weekend camping tickets cost £325, while early camping (from Wednesday) is £361. Day tickets for Saturday are £190, and Sunday tickets are £125. Friday day tickets have sold out.

Camping Options

The festival offers five campsites: The Fields (traditional, with color-coded zones), The Garden (quiet, with yoga and meditation), The Meadow (eco-friendly, with workshops), The Grove (community-focused), and The Valley (solo campers). Noise levels vary, with the White zone being the quietest.

Getting There

By bus: Big Green Coach offers pickups from over 40 locations. Shuttle buses run to the site. By train: Reading station is a 15-20 minute walk. By car: Not recommended due to congestion; shuttle buses cost £1.
