Myleene Klass has found a stylish way to beat the scorching heatwave sweeping London. As temperatures soared to a record-breaking 35.1°C on May 26, 2026, the 48-year-old TV personality opted for a bold outfit while running errands: a bright striped bikini from her brand partner, Freemans.
Driving in Style
Instead of staying indoors, Myleene took to her air-conditioned car, posting a series of photos on social media. She wore an orange, pink, and white bikini paired with white Prada sunglasses, captioning the post: 'Bank hols. Klassy cabs did overtime.' The lighthearted post quickly garnered attention from her celebrity friends.
Celebrity Reactions
Helen Flanagan commented 'My god,' while Scarlett Moffatt added 'wow' with fire and heart emojis. Nicole Appleton also showed her enthusiasm, and Catherine Tyldesley wrote, 'Momma you look incredible.' Smooth Radio host Angie Greaves simply said, 'Girl.'
Iconic Bikini Legacy
This is not the first time Myleene's bikini has made headlines. In 2006, her white matching set became iconic during her time on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! The former Hear's Say singer has joked that the simple £40 swimwear 'put my kids through school,' frequently recreating the look.
The Story Behind the Bikini
In 2020, Myleene recalled how the bikini came to be: 'I remember one of the show's producers looking at my bikinis in the hotel before I went to camp. One was covered in stripes. "We'll have to stop at the shops as that's probably going to strobe on camera." I ran into the shop en route to the jungle, asked the shop assistant for the plainest bikini she had. Best $40 I ever spent... especially as it raised so much for charity afterwards.' She later auctioned the two-piece, raising over £7,500 for charity.
Body Image Pressures
Myleene has previously opened up about the pressures she faced regarding her body. Speaking on Loose Women in 2024, she said: 'Some of the experiences that we went through we were in no way equipped for it. We were just five kids in a room at the end of the day.' She also revealed that managers would 'clear out mini bars and food,' which she believed was an attempt to control their eating habits, thinking they were 'overeating and fat.' She added: 'We had an image of this perfection, this role to fulfil. Somebody drew a circle around my cellulite while I was on holiday... On the front of every magazine there was a huge circle and my cellulite, we wouldn't allow that today.'
Hear's Say Split
Hear's Say split in 2002, citing 'abuse from the public' as a factor after they topped charts with 'Pure and Simple.'
