New York's iconic Magnolia Bakery is crossing the Atlantic this month, giving Londoners a chance to taste its famous banana pudding. The beloved chain will pop up at Café Ciel, located within Raffles London at The OWO, from May 19 to June 10.

Pop-Up Options

Customers can choose between an outdoor kiosk in the Grand Courtyard for takeaway portions and limited-edition cold drinks, or a sit-down brunch inside the hotel. The kiosk offers items like a banana pudding-flavored iced matcha and sticky toffee pudding.

Brunch Menu

For those dining in, the menu features dishes inspired by Magnolia Bakery's New York roots, including banoffee French toast, cinnamon swirl American pancakes, and a NYC bagel. A unique affogato combines banana pudding with espresso and ice cream.

The outdoor kiosk is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday through Tuesday, on a walk-in basis. In-dining bookings can be made via SevenRooms.

History and Expansion

Founded in 1996, Magnolia Bakery is renowned for its American desserts, such as cakes, cupcakes, and brownies. Its banana pudding, made with vanilla wafers, fresh bananas, and pudding, gained global fame through TikTok and Instagram. The bakery now operates in 48 U.S. states and countries including India, the Philippines, and the Middle East. However, a permanent UK location is not yet planned.
