Love Is Blind UK season 3 has landed on Netflix with eight episodes, prompting viewers to call out contestant Jack for using the same flirting techniques on two women in the pods. Fans have taken to social media to question whether the self-proclaimed 'Cornish beachbum' realises everything is being filmed for international television.
Jack's identical flirting lines exposed
In a clip shared by Netflix, Jack is seen showering both pilates instructor Ciara and executive assistant Faye with praise over their voices. He then tells each woman that they are 'very, very, very high' up on his ranking. The pattern continues as he gives both women a kiss on the screen separating them before declaring 'I love you,' leading them to giggle.
Viewers quickly noticed the almost word-for-word repetition of his flirting technique. 'I don't think he knows he's being recorded…and on Netflix…and people will see this…' remskkii shared on social media. 'Omg!! Here we go again. I can already see women crying during the reunion episode over bad decisions,' estudiosheilaalves added.
Clara Amfo declared: 'The way some of these women need to RUN, whew.' _wabi_sabi said: 'Does he know this is all filmed and everyone will see and hear this.'
Additional slip-ups in the pods
Beyond the repeated lines, Jack has made several mistakes during his pod dates. He forgot that Ciara is vegan while talking about cheese, and he mistook Faye for Fran. 'Jack isn't ready to be on a show like this,' MissBetts said. 'Jack is literally telling everyone what they want to hear and they're just eating it up… same lines and everything too,' Jade pointed out.
Lola echoed the sentiment: 'Why is Jack telling every woman he talks to I love you?? It's a bit annoying.'
Some viewers defend Jack's behaviour
Some fans have jumped to Jack's defence, arguing that at the start of the pods, everyone has to date 15 people (there are 15 men and 15 women). 'He's just a goofy soul that wears his heart on his sleeve,' presh_jonathan said. 'He is dating several people at the same time, that's pretty much what the show is about,' cris_zeballos81 reflected.
Drama continues after the pods
After choosing Faye in the pods, the drama does not end there. Ciara confronted Jack on the couples' honeymoons in Ibiza about him going around claiming she had put him as her number one. Later, when the couples return to reality in London, Jack disappears for 'a walk' for two hours in his sliders hours before meeting the parents, leaving Faye without answers and questioning their entire relationship.
During the series, Jack has also been open about having ADHD and shared how this has affected his life and how he navigates relationships.
Love Is Blind UK episodes one to eight are streaming now. Episodes nine and 10 will arrive on Wednesday, August 26, and the reunion will air at 9pm on Sunday, August 30.
