Hollyoaks shock: Cleo McQueen's new lover revealed as Abigail
Hollyoaks shock: Cleo McQueen's new lover is Abigail

In a shocking twist in Hollyoaks next week, Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) discovers Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) in bed with newcomer Abigail (Brooke Vincent), confirming a surprising new relationship.

Dodger's discovery

Dodger, a police detective, is currently dating Theresa McQueen (Jorgie Porter), who believes their relationship is solid after Dodger suggested they get a house together. However, unbeknownst to Theresa, Dodger has been having an affair with Cleo, who was previously involved with his twin sister Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) earlier this year. That relationship ended when Sienna attempted to kill Cleo by locking her in an allotment and threatening her.

Dodger and Cleo have been trying to resist their attraction but succumbed last month, embarking on a full-blown affair. Theresa remains unaware, leaving Dodger feeling guilty, yet he and Cleo continue to see each other behind her back.

Joel's release and a new connection

Next week, Cleo's focus shifts when she learns that Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed) is due to be released soon. He contacts her, wanting to see baby Joseph. Dodger overhears the conversation and questions whether it's the right thing to do.

Later, Cleo encounters Abigail, who is with Leela Dexter (Kirsty-Leigh Porter). The situation takes an unexpected turn when Dodger arrives home and walks in on Cleo in bed with Abigail.

What's next?

The question remains: how will Dodger react? Is this the beginning of a special relationship between Cleo and Abigail, or is Dodger still the one for Cleo?

Hollyoaks streams Mondays to Wednesdays from 6am on Channel 4's streaming platform, or airs on TV at 7pm on E4.
