A deleted Reddit post suggests the upcoming GTA 6 Extended Look on Netflix could be split into three episodes, with a combined runtime of roughly 66 minutes, but Rockstar has not officially confirmed the format.
Rumoured Episode Listings Surface on Netflix Portugal
According to a since-deleted post on the GTA 6 subreddit, a screenshot from Netflix’s Portugal page for the GTA 6 Extended Look showed three episode listings with individual running times. As reported by Game Rant, the first episode was listed at 23 minutes and 37 seconds, the second at 24 minutes and 41 seconds, and the third at 18 minutes and 29 seconds.
The listings have not appeared on any other Netflix regional page and have since been removed from the Portugal listing. Some observers have speculated that the leak could have been generated by AI, a common concern for unverified online content.
Rockstar’s Netflix Partnership and the Extended Look Premiere
Rockstar Games announced via a tweet on August 6, 2026, that the GTA 6 Extended Look will premiere on Netflix on Thursday, August 27 at 3 p.m. ET (8 p.m. BST). The special will then be available on YouTube on August 28 at 2 a.m. BST, giving Netflix a six-hour exclusive window.
The content of the Extended Look remains unclear, though it is expected to include actual gameplay footage for the first time. Given Rockstar’s partnership with Netflix, the special could be more ambitious than a simple trailer.
Take-Two CEO Hints at More Announcements
Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick recently commented on the GTA 6 announcement schedule, saying that “there’s appetisers, main course, and dessert to follow” after the Netflix event. While he did not specify details, his comments could imply additional Netflix showcases or a three-part structure.
GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19, 2026. The rumoured episode structure remains unverified, but the possibility of multiple parts aligns with the running times listed in the leak.
