The Donmar Warehouse has officially announced its 2026 winter season, featuring a star-studded revival of Harold Pinter's No Man's Land starring Rupert Everett and Simon Russell Beale, alongside two other productions. The season begins following the conclusion of the current sold-out show The Guilty and its follow-up A Month in the Country.
Opening Production: Ilford Boy
The first show of the season is Danny Lee Wynter's Ilford Boy, running from October 10 to November 28. This semi-autobiographical comedy-drama explores coming of age as a mixed-race teenager in 1990s London. The cast includes heavyweight performers Sinead Matthews and Ria Zmitrowicz, alongside newcomer Leo Whitfield-Harris, who makes his professional stage debut in the role of Ted.
The King's Ransom: A Dramatisation of Elvis Body-Snatching Plot
Running from December 5 to February 6, 2027, The King's Ransom is a new play by Stuart Slade, directed by Matthew Dunster. The play dramatises the shocking 1977 attempt by four men to steal the body of Elvis Presley and demand a $10 million ransom for its return. While no casting has been announced, Dunster has a history of attracting celebrity actors, notably launching Lily Allen's theatre career.
No Man's Land: Pinter Revival with Star Cast
The season's highlight is a revival of Harold Pinter's No Man's Land, directed by Patrick Marber, running from February 13 to April 10, 2027. This marks the first London production since Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart performed it a decade ago. The play follows the unsettling encounters between Hirst and Spooner, two older men in Hirst's plush north London home. Rupert Everett and Simon Russell Beale take on these iconic roles.
