Danny Dyer has revealed that he appears fully nude in a full-frontal scene in the upcoming second season of the Disney Plus series Rivals. The 48-year-old actor, known for his roles in EastEnders and Mr. Bigstuff, spoke to Radio Times about the daring moment.
Danny Dyer's Full-Frontal Scene
In an interview with Radio Times, Dyer stated: 'I go full frontal in this series, if they keep it in the edit. It's a night shoot, and it was cold, and I'd better not say any more.' He added, 'Nobody's under pressure to be naked if they don't want to, but if a woman's getting her breasts out, why shouldn't I get it all out? I've got breasts as well, to be fair,' the former EastEnders star joked.
Season 2 of Rivals
The second season of Rivals, based on Dame Jilly Cooper's novel, premieres this Friday on Disney Plus. Set against the backdrop of the Cotswolds countryside and 1980s British television, the series features an all-star cast including David Tennant. Dyer plays Freddie Jones, a self-made electronics mogul.
Previously, Dyer promised that season 2 would have 'plenty of naughtiness,' and he has delivered on that promise. He told Radio Times: 'It's so lavish and lush. I'm very excited about it. I'm concentrating on bringing Freddie back. This series is so much better than the first. It's that difficult second album thing other than the writers and producers have absolutely nailed it. I can't wait for people to see it, it's a beautiful job for me.'
Dyer's Daughter Banned from Watching
Danny Dyer has also revealed that he has banned his daughter Dani from watching the series due to its racy content. The father-daughter duo recently starred in Sky's The Dyers' Caravan Park, which premiered in February. In February, Dyer told Metro about his caravan park's 'serial pooper'.
Rivals Season 2 Release
Rivals season two is available to stream this Friday, April 15, on Disney Plus. The series promises more jaw-dropping sex scenes and a darker, sillier tone than the first season.
