Coronation Street star Calum Lill has welcomed the arrival of his first child, a baby girl named Primrose. The 31-year-old actor, known for playing Joel Deering on the ITV soap from 2023 to 2024, announced the happy news on Instagram.

Calum proposed to his girlfriend Roberta in 2024, and in 2025 they shared that they were expecting. Earlier this year, he posted Christmas-themed photos showing Roberta's pregnancy bump painted like a snowman. Now, the couple has introduced their daughter to the world.
Sharing a series of pictures documenting the first month of parenthood, Calum wrote: 'Welcome to the world Primrose Lill. Here's her first month in pictures. We're very tired but happier than ever. Thank you to our family and friends for all your support. You've been amazing and we're very grateful. And to our beautiful baby girl, you are perfect.'

Calum's Soap Career
Calum's Coronation Street character Joel Deering was a solicitor who initially appeared kind and loving to girlfriend Dee-Dee. However, it was later revealed he had groomed Lauren Bolton after meeting her in a police interview room. Lauren disappeared from Weatherfield to escape Joel, leading to Roy Cropper being wrongly imprisoned for her apparent murder. When Joel's secrets came to light, Dee-Dee and Lisa Swain worked together to expose him. Joel never faced prison time; he was murdered by Lauren, who hit him over the head and threw his body off a bridge with help from Max Turner.
Before Coronation Street, Calum played PC Smith in Hollyoaks and appeared in Holby City and Doctors.
