Betsy Rushed to Hospital After Collapse
Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) is found unconscious on the kitchen floor by Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) and taken to hospital in an ambulance. A nurse tells a tearful Lisa Connor-Swain (Vicky Myers) that Betsy needs an MRI scan. When Dylan arrives to visit, Betsy suffers a fit, and upon waking, she muddles her words and struggles to speak.
Lisa, already fraught with worry, blames Dylan for Betsy's medical crisis. She reports him to the police, leading to his arrest at the precinct, as witnessed by Fiz (Jennie McAlpine).

Dylan arrives at the hospital with treats for Betsy but is stunned to find Lisa holds him responsible. Lauren (Cait Fitton) tells Dylan that Betsy is in a bad way and doesn't want to see him. Unaware of this, Betsy is shocked to learn Lisa reported Dylan to the police.
Word spreads quickly. When Sean (Antony Cotton) and Dylan enter the Rovers, Lauren refuses to serve them. In response, Dylan accuses his best friend Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) of causing Betsy's collapse, saying, "I believe Brody was responsible for what happened to Betsy."
