Angine de Poitrine Live: Time-Travelling Duo Wows London with Bizarre Show
Angine de Poitrine Live: Bizarre Duo Wows London

Angine de Poitrine, the hyper-galactic duo that has taken the music world by storm, delivered an unforgettable performance at London's Electric Ballroom. The mysterious masked pair, known as Khn and Klek de Poitrine, have sold out their entire UK tour without revealing their true identities. Their bizarre masks, polka-dotted jumpsuits, and self-coined Mantra-Rock Dada Pythagorean-Cubist Orchestra style have captivated audiences worldwide.

A Night of Alien Antics

The show, upgraded from the Scala due to immense demand, saw fans donning makeshift Angine de Poitrine hats and polka-dotted clothing. Montreal rockers Yoo Doo Right provided support, but the crowd was there for one thing only: Khn and Klek. The 'brothers' walked out to a roar and a sea of triangular hand signals, with one gig-goer perfectly summing up the anticipation: 'What the f*** are we about to witness?'

Music from Another World

Khn played complex melodies on a double-necked microtonal guitar while Klek pounded the drums with cosmic force. Vocals were minimal, but the crowd sang along to the riffs. Mosh pits and crowd surfing erupted during their hypnotic space rock. Between songs, Khn and Klek held up their hands in triangular shapes, mirrored by the crowd in a cult-like manner. They warbled in their native 'language', and at one point, they screamed 'London' in an alien tone.

So captivated were the audience that it felt like witnessing the birth of a new interdimensional religion. The hour-long set flew by in a flash. Leaving the venue, one attendee remarked: 'That was absolutely bonkers.' It truly was.

Don't Miss Out

Angine de Poitrine will touch down at London's Troxy on October 19. For those who missed this show, it's a chance to see the real deal before they vanish into the cosmos.
