I'm A Celeb Romance Brewing: Aitch and Shona Spark Jungle Love Hopes
Aitch and Shona Spark I'm A Celeb Romance Rumours

Viewers of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! are buzzing with excitement about a potential jungle romance brewing between rapper Aitch and former EastEnders star Shona McGarty.

Jungle Crush Confession Sparks Romance Rumours

The speculation began when Aitch confessed to having a soft spot for Shona during a conversation with fellow campmate Angry Ginge. The Manchester-born musician, whose real name is Harrison Armstrong, revealed he had developed feelings for the 34-year-old soap actress, sending fans into a frenzy.

Social media immediately lit up with comparisons to one of the show's most famous couples, with many dubbing them the new Katie Price and Peter Andre, who famously met and married after appearing on the reality show in 2004.

Both Stars Entered Camp Single

In a significant development that has fuelled romance rumours, it's been confirmed that both celebrities were completely single when they entered the Australian jungle.

Aitch had recently ended his relationship with psychology student Lois Cottam just before heading to Australia for the show. According to sources speaking to The Sun, the pair parted ways amicably this month after approximately one year together.

'Aitch and Lois still have a lot of love for each other, but they decided they are better off as friends,' an insider revealed. 'They enjoyed the time they spent together and things ended amicably between them.'

The source added that there's no 'bad blood' between the 25-year-olds, and Lois is actually supporting her ex from home, rooting for him to do well on the programme.

Shona's Relationship History

Meanwhile, Shona McGarty also entered the jungle freshly single after calling off her engagement to Irish guitarist David Bracken. The former EastEnders actress, who left her role as Whitney Dean in May, had been engaged to Bracken after he proposed last year.

Sources close to the couple confirmed they mutually ended their engagement shortly before Shona's I'm A Celebrity debut. 'They realised they wanted different things and are better off as friends,' an insider explained. 'Shona is now focusing on her music and career.'

Despite their split, David showed his support for Shona with a sweet Instagram Story before the launch show aired, writing: 'Let's go girl you got this,' alongside a selfie of them together.

Fan Reactions and Camp Dynamics

Fans have been quick to notice the chemistry between Aitch and Shona, with many taking to social media to express their excitement about the potential pairing.

'I'm already deeply committed to the Shona and Aitch jungle romance, just so everyone knows. How can we aide this from our sofas?' wrote one enthusiastic viewer on X.

Another added: 'I'm here for Aitch and Shona, they'd make a good couple,' while a third declared: 'Aitch and Shona the couple we didn't know we needed.'

The romance speculation gained further traction when Camp Leader Aitch was seen giving Shona easier tasks during challenges, suggesting he might be trying to look out for her in the camp.

While some viewers remain sceptical, suggesting the pair might be engaging in a 'showmance' for screen time, the genuine connection between them has become one of the most talked-about aspects of this year's series.

I'm A Celebrity continues to air each night at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with fans eagerly watching to see if this jungle romance will blossom into something more.
