Reddit users have claimed the breakout contestant adopted a 'fake' posh accent that appeared to change depending on who she was speaking to, with one fan asking: "Am I Insane? Just watched the weddings and did Ciara's voice not change during the wedding?"

Others were quick to agree with the observation, as one replied: "I've noticed her accent slip a few times," and a third added: "Yes, there were parts where she dropped her posh accent." However, not all viewers were on board with the criticism, with some defending Ciara's supposed accent 'slip up' as a natural tendency when speaking with different people.

Whether fans spotted the alleged 'slip up' or not, Ciara has now addressed it head-on, dismissing the speculation in a recent interview with presenter Anthony Gilet. She calmly explained: "No. I don't think that. I think my energy can shift, so if you actually watch my dates with Jack versus Ajay, I think I'm a lot calmer and more relaxed when I'm with Ajay because he created this super safe space."
"Whereas Jack, it's a little bit more surface level, I think that's maybe where the shift comes in," reports the Mirror. The reality star also made it clear that there was no 'shift' when she was conversing with her other castmates.

The latest series of the dating experiment has drawn to a close, with four couples walking away in happy marriages. As usual, viewers watched 30 singles enter the famous blind dating pods with the aim of becoming engaged. A record number of couples, precisely 14, became engaged following the initial stage but audiences at home only witnessed six love stories play out on screen.
