Tony's Chocolonely has launched a new Milk Popcorn Crunch chocolate bar, a sweet and salty option featuring roasted, caramelised popcorn pieces in 32% Fairtrade Belgian milk chocolate. The 180g bar joins the core range three months after the release of the company's first filled bars.
Product Details
The bar retains Tony's signature unequally divided design and comes in plastic-free, 100% recyclable packaging. It is made from 100% traceable cocoa beans—precisely 134 per bar—sourced through Tony's Open Chain, which helps farmers earn a stable living income. The company describes the flavour as a nostalgic cinema snack combination.
Availability and Price
Milk Popcorn Crunch is available at Sainsbury's, Asda, WHSmith, Oxfam, and on the manufacturer's website, with a recommended retail price of £4 per bar. A spokesperson for Tony's Chocolonely said: 'It's a sweet indulgence that delivers on taste and does good with every bite—whether you're taking it to the movies, or curling up for a cosy night in.'
Consumer Reactions
Early reactions on social media have been largely positive. Instagram user mercyfulani commented: 'I may have just found my movie snack soulmate,' while eileen.molloy.71 called it 'the perfect combo.' On TikTok, emily.a.bennett wrote: 'Found already, devoured immediately and on the hunt for more. Could it be the best Tony's bar yet?!' Another user, tasneem__x, described it as 'sweet salty spectacular,' telling the brand: 'You've outdone yourself again!'
However, some fans expressed disappointment, hoping instead for the launch of Tony's first white chocolate bar. TikTok user ..natz_012 said: 'It's not funny anymore.' But morganholdsworthh argued Milk Popcorn Crunch was 'so much better,' and art.nailartist_ joked: 'Ignoring white chocolate? I love y'all already.'
