Marks & Spencer Foodhall has introduced a new S'mores Cookie Cup, marking the first 'Bake at Home' version of its popular Cookie Cup range. Priced at £3, the dessert is available in M&S Foodhalls nationwide, with fans online calling it 'banging' and 'delightful', according to Metro.
What's Inside the New S'mores Cookie Cup?
The S'mores Cookie Cup features a milk chocolate chip cookie cup filled with dark and milk chocolate ganache, topped with chunky milk chocolate pieces, soft marshmallows, and fudgy brownie. The retailer recommends baking it for 12 minutes in the oven. This is the latest limited-edition addition to the Cookie Cup range, following the 'Birthday Cake' flavour, Big Daddy, and a Gingerbread & White Chocolate version at Christmas.
The original Cookie Cup range launched in June 2025 with three flavours: Raspberry & White Chocolate, Extremely Chocolatey, and Hazelnut Praline. Since then, M&S has released several limited-edition options, which fans have called 'bloody delicious' and 'filthy', according to Metro.
Metro's Taste Test: Warm and Gooey Upgrade
Metro's reviewer tested the new treat, noting that after baking, the cookie cup shell had a softness while maintaining a crunch, unlike the cold options. The chocolate ganache was described as 'rich and smooth', with chocolate pieces melting into the centre upon cutting. The warm brownie added a fudgy texture.
However, the marshmallow was a weaker point: 'While it was a welcome addition, it felt somewhat lost among all the chocolate and didn't add much to the overall experience,' the reviewer wrote. 'A generous helping of marshmallow would have gone a long way in bringing out that classic s'mores flavour.' Despite this, the reviewer concluded that the bake-at-home twist is 'a real upgrade', making the dessert 'completely worth it' for serious chocolate lovers.
Other New M&S Treats This Summer
M&S has also unveiled a new 'premium' dog and cat food range called Paws & Pals, now available in M&S Foodhalls, as announced on their Instagram. The supermarket recently released its Collection Single Origin Dark Chocolate with Mint, which left fans divided, according to Metro. A mini version of the Blond Chocolate and Pistachio Bar is now available for £1.40. Additionally, M&S brought back their 80s St Michael chocolates last month, which fans called 'delicious madness'.
