Greggs has confirmed that its Steak & Stilton Bake, discontinued in 2019, will return to shelves from Thursday, September 3, 2026. The announcement came as the high street chain unveiled its autumn menu, which also introduces several new items and brings back seasonal favourites.
Return of a 'legendary item'
The Steak & Stilton Bake, described by Greggs as a 'legendary item' that fans have been 'begging for,' will be available for £2.50, though prices may vary slightly by location. The pastry contains diced beef in rich gravy, blue Stilton cheese, and grilled onions wrapped in flaky puff pastry.
Greggs told Metro that the new autumn items will remain on the menu until the launch of the Christmas menu, though the exact date of that transition has not been disclosed.
New additions to the autumn menu
Alongside the returning bake, Greggs is introducing several new products. The Buffalo Chicken Baguette (from £4.10) features buffalo-style chicken mayonnaise with mature cheddar cheese and red onion. The Buffalo Pizza Slice (from £2.70) is a focaccia-style pizza topped with cheese, pizza sauce, buffalo-style chicken mayonnaise, and red onion, available in two-, four-, or six-slice boxes priced from £5.75, £8.95, and £10.95 respectively.
The Chicken & Pepperoni Toastie (from £3.80) combines chicken in a pizza-style sauce within a sandwich. For those with a sweet tooth, the Bonfire Toffee Muffin (from £1.65) is also new this autumn.
The much-loved Pumpkin Spice drinks are making a comeback, with the Pumpkin Spice Latte (from £2.85, or £3.35 for iced) now topped with salted caramel drizzle. The Pumpkin Spice Doughnut (from £1.50) also returns.

Greggs has not yet announced whether additional plant-based items will be added to the autumn menu.
