Four south east London restaurants have been named among the UK's very best curry houses for 2026, according to the annual guide compiled by the Asian Catering Federation (ACF). The list, first launched in 2022, celebrates top Asian cuisine across the country, from Michelin-starred fine dining to neighbourhood curry houses.
London's 21 restaurants include four in Bromley and Lewisham
This year, 21 restaurants across London made the list, with four located in the boroughs of Bromley and Lewisham. The selected venues were chosen through public votes and recommendations from the ACF's expert panel.
Among the recognised businesses are Lewisham-based Panas Gurkha by Sujan Katuwal in Blackheath and Babur in Forest Hill, both of which have won multiple awards over the years. iNaga in West Wickham, Bromley, and The Bombay in Swanley, Kent, were also named, marking another success for both restaurants this month after winning awards at the Curry Life Awards 2026.
