Spencer Matthews has publicly expressed how much he's missing his wife Vogue Williams as she faces the challenges of the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here jungle in Australia.
Heartfelt Social Media Tribute
The 37-year-old businessman took to Instagram to share an emotional post about his wife, who entered the ITV reality show as a Chief Explorer alongside fellow celebrities including Ruby Wax and Jack Osbourne. Matthews, who is currently undertaking seven triathlons across seven continents, revealed the depth of his feelings during their separation.
"It's wild how much you can miss someone you've spoken to every single day for years," Matthews wrote in his social media post. "This is the longest we've gone without talking since we've been married, and I feel it more than I ever expected."
Family Life and Jungle Challenges
While Matthews watches the show from home with their three children - six-year-old Theodore, four-year-old Gigi, and three-year-old Otto - his wife is confronting her fears in the Australian bush. Williams, who admitted to hating spiders but doesn't mind heights, has already made an impression on viewers and campmates alike.
The 40-year-old Irish model and podcaster entered the jungle alongside Celebs Go Dating star Tom Read Wilson as Chief Explorers, immediately assigning chores to other contestants - a move that reportedly didn't sit well with some campmates.
Matthews added in his touching message: "When things get dark and rough for me in this challenge, I think about how incredible our reunion will feel in a couple of weeks and how amazing it will be to hold you and to be back together as a family."
Addressing Relationship Rumours
The public display of affection comes amid speculation about the state of their marriage following their business split earlier this year. The couple announced that their joint podcast, Spencer & Vogue, would no longer feature the former Made In Chelsea star.
Williams recently addressed the breakup rumours on her popular podcast, My Therapist Ghosted Me, which she hosts with comedian Joanne McNally. Jokingly accusing her co-host of being the source of the speculation, Williams suggested the gossip stemmed from Spencer's absence in photographs from her 'girls' weekend' at the Glen Affric Estate in the Scottish Highlands.
"It said, 'Spencer and Vogue are headed for a breakup because they're spending so much time apart,'" Williams revealed. "And I could only assume it was because he wasn't in my content for Affric, because he came up on the Saturday."
The TV personality expressed frustration with the unfounded speculation, questioning whether couples in the public eye are allowed any time apart. She firmly stated to The Sun: "I feel like I've hit a point in my life where it only matters what I know and what our truth is. We're happy, our relationship is solid, and we're having a great time, our kids are happy, and that's all that matters."
As Williams continues her jungle journey, fans of her podcast are tuning in to watch her progress, while her husband counts down the days until their reunion, proudly watching her "smashing it" from afar.
