Official Studio Ghibli Shop Opens in London

Anime enthusiasts across the UK have a magical reason to celebrate this festive season, as the legendary Studio Ghibli announces the launch of an official temporary shop in the heart of London.

A Dream Come True for Ghibli Fans

Maison Ghibli will throw open its doors in the prestigious Knightsbridge district this Saturday, November 15, 2025. The pop-up experience offers a rare chance for British fans to immerse themselves in the world of Hayao Miyazaki without booking a flight to Japan. The shop will operate for a limited time only, with its final day scheduled for January 11, 2026.

What to Expect Inside Maison Ghibli

Shoppers can explore a beautifully curated selection of goodies, all officially licensed and shipped directly from Japan. The product range promises something for every devotee, from cuddly plush toys of beloved characters like the iconic Totoro from 'My Neighbor Totoro' and the enigmatic No-Face from 'Spirited Away' to the sassy feline Jiji from 'Kiki's Delivery Service'.

Beyond the soft toys, the store will be stocked with an array of collectables and practical items. Fans can browse minifigures, intricate puzzles, detailed models, and a selection of homewares and stationery. In a playful nod to one of the studio's most famous films, the shop has everything you could want "up to, and excluding, an actual moving castle."

Visit and Share the Magic

Adding to the experience, a special Totoro-themed photo opportunity will be set up in the shop window, creating the perfect Insta-worthy moment for visitors. Best of all, entry to the shop is completely free.

The shop will be located at 237 Brompton Road, Knightsbridge, SW3 2EP. Opening hours are tailored for late-night shopping and weekend visits: 10:30 am to 8:00 pm from Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 8:30 pm on Saturdays, and 12:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Sundays.

By purchasing these certified products, fans are not just taking home a piece of animation history; they are also directly supporting Studio Ghibli and helping to fund the next wave of magical creations from the acclaimed studio.
