Dawn Taylor's (Olivia Bromley) behavior in Emmerdale is almost making viewers feel sorry for Joe Tate (Ned Porteous). Almost. Dawn has been toying with the Tate heir, and she might be about to get her fingers burned. After discovering what Joe did to Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) — namely, orchestrating her incarceration — Dawn packed her car and prepared to leave. Moira convinced her to play a game with Joe to shake him for every penny, but Joe's charm eventually won her back. That decision could become a problem as it now seems Dawn never lost her feelings for her ex, Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle).
Jealousy Over Billy and Gabby
With Dawn's almost-sister Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) now getting together with Billy, Dawn is finding it harder to hide her jealousy. She tried to prevent the new couple from going public, claiming it was to protect the children — who were absolutely fine with their father figure finding love. When Gabby had a dizzy spell mistaken for a possible pregnancy, Dawn started to wobble. Though it turned out to be only a scare, Gabby then told Dawn she was ditching birth control, prompting Dawn to have a full meltdown. She broke Gabby's confidence and relayed this news to Billy in hopes of scaring him off, which did not amuse Gabby.
Joe's Suspicion Grows
Dawn's behavior has not gone unnoticed by Joe, especially after Gabby told him she had concerns Dawn still has eyes for Billy. Now Joe is starting to wonder if Gabby is right. Dawn found a detention slip in Lucas's pocket, providing the perfect excuse for the two parents to come together to parent their child. As they enjoyed each other's company, they both relaxed, and Dawn leaned in for a kiss. This became especially awkward as Joe arrived home at that moment — but what did he see?
Joe's Next Move
Dawn fretted that Joe witnessed the kiss and became concerned when, the next day, Joe suddenly called a family lunch. Even Graham was suspicious. Joe is set to shock them with his next move. What's his game? According to sources, Joe's revenge on Dawn is 'confirmed' as part of a dramatic Emmerdale exit story. Dawn may be left wishing she had done a bunk when she had the chance.
