The Study Behind the Scenes
Video production specialists at Wonderpunch conducted an in-depth analysis to uncover these cinematic hotspots. They examined data from the 100 films and TV shows with the most IMDB ratings that filmed in the UK. Each production was meticulously searched through movie location databases to identify the specific UK landmarks featured.
The research didn't stop there. A total of 114 locations were then rated based on their social media presence, measured by Instagram posts under relevant hashtags, combined with their Google review scores. Each filming spot received a score out of 20, creating a definitive ranking of London's most popular cinematic settings.
London's Magnificent Seven Film Locations
1. Tower Bridge
This Victorian masterpiece isn't just a river crossing; it's a bona fide film star. Tower Bridge has provided dramatic backdrops for everything from the hit US sitcom Friends to superhero adventures in Spider-Man.
