The tension in Walford reaches breaking point next week as Zoe Slater becomes convinced she's finally uncovered the identity of the mysterious stalker terrorising her family, in dramatic EastEnders scenes airing from November 18, 2025.
The Stalking Campaign Escalates
Zoe Slater, played by Michelle Ryan, reaches a critical point in her stalking ordeal when she becomes certain she's solved the mystery behind the campaign of terror targeting her. This comes as the anonymous tormentor makes their next move against the vulnerable resident.
Recent weeks have seen the Slater-Moon family subjected to numerous sinister incidents clearly designed to spread fear. The harassment began with the discovery of a smashed, blood-smeared photograph upstairs at The Queen Victoria pub, followed by a mysterious VHS tape that added to the growing sense of dread.
The situation turned physically dangerous when Zoe was attacked, presumably by the same stalker. The campaign then moved online with a flood of vicious reviews targeting the Vic, before escalating further with a threatening message daubed on the wall of the barrel store.
Family Divided Over the Threat
The terrifying events have created a rift within the family, with Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) initially convinced that Zoe was staging the attacks herself. His suspicions grew when she admitted to defacing their family photographs, though the barrel store message finally convinced him the threat was genuine.
In contrast, Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) has stood firmly by her daughter throughout the ordeal, determined to uncover who's behind the harassment. The discovery of an earring at the scene gave Kat a potential lead to pursue, offering a glimmer of hope in solving the mystery.
Despite this clue, Zoe continues to feel vulnerable and paranoid as the attacks intensify in frequency and severity.
The Terror Intensifies Next Week
The upcoming episodes see the stalking campaign reach new heights of intimidation. Both Kat and Alfie's mobile phones begin ringing constantly from a mystery number, while the Vic's landline also becomes bombarded with crank calls.
As Kat focuses on the earring as the potential key to solving the mystery, Zoe develops her own firm theory about the stalker's identity. However, her suspicions are met with disagreement from both Kat and Alfie, leading to a massive argument that drives Zoe to seek comfort from her ex, Anthony Trueman (Nicholas Bailey).
Anthony provides a sympathetic ear and shoulder to cry on, but Zoe's moment of solace proves tragically short-lived. Upon returning to the Vic, she discovers a Christmas card left specifically for her, inscribed with a sinister message that plunges her back into paranoia and sheer terror.
With no further clues about who's determined to torment her, and her family equally distressed by the escalating situation, Zoe finds herself trapped in a cycle of fear with no apparent escape.
The burning questions remain: Who is behind this terrifying campaign of harassment? And more frightening still - what will they do next?
