Becky Lynch reveals WWE star 'blacklisted women wrestlers over sex'
Becky Lynch: Male WWE star blacklisted women wrestlers

WWE Star's Shocking Allegations

Becky Lynch, one of WWE's most prominent female wrestlers, has made startling allegations about a male colleague's behaviour towards women in the wrestling industry. The Irish superstar claimed she received warnings early in her career about a top male wrestler who would systematically blacklist female colleagues based on their response to his sexual advances.

The Unnamed Wrestler's Pattern

Speaking on Bert Kreischer's podcast Something's Burning, Lynch revealed she was told to be careful around a specific main roster member during her time in NXT, WWE's developmental brand, between 2013 and 2015. The 38-year-old recalled being warned that this unnamed male star would attempt to sleep with female wrestlers, then blacklist them regardless of their response.

"Be careful, because one, he'll try to sleep with you. If he sleeps with you, then he'll blacklist you," Lynch recounted. "And then if he tries to sleep with you and you don't sleep with him, he'll also blacklist you. So there was this line you had to walk, this tight rope."

The situation became particularly concerning when the wrestler obtained Lynch's phone number, leaving her uncertain how to navigate the professional minefield. She expressed frustration that women consistently faced greater career risks in such situations, noting "if you get into a relationship and things go south, they're not going to fire the guy, they're always going to fire the girl."

From Warning to Wrestling Royalty

Despite these early career challenges, Lynch persevered to become one of WWE's most successful performers. Her career highlights include making history at WrestleMania 35 in 2019, where she participated in the first-ever women's main event alongside Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey. That landmark match saw Lynch capture both the Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships.

Lynch's personal life also flourished within the wrestling world. She married fellow WWE star Seth Rollins, with whom she has a daughter, Roux, who will celebrate her fifth birthday next month. While Rollins is currently recovering from a shoulder injury that forced him to relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship, Lynch remains active in major WWE events.

This weekend, Lynch will compete in Survivor Series on Saturday as part of the women's WarGames match. She'll team with Lash Legend, Nia Jax and the Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) against Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair and AJ Lee.

Lynch's allegations shed light on the challenges women have faced in professional wrestling, even as she herself has become a driving force in breaking down barriers for female performers in the industry.
