Battersea Power Station will host a new summer funfair called Electric Summer, featuring fairground rides, a big wheel, dodgems, boardwalk games, and a large central roller rink. The event runs daily from July 29 to August 31, from 10am to 10pm, including bank holidays.
Roller Rink and Activities
The highlight is a huge roller rink open to all skill levels, with a programme of sessions and events. Morning classes cater to beginners, while kids' classes teach children to skate for the first time. Adult skate school and fitness classes are also available, along with Thursday late-night skate sessions and Saturday silent discos.
Pétanque and Dining
Electric Summer will feature multiple pétanque courts for the classic French ball game. A Boardwalk Bar and roof terrace offer refreshments, and on the Coaling Jetty, a waterside bar and eatery will serve freshly made artisan sandwiches.
Booking and Access
Walk-ins are welcome for rides, games, and skate sessions, but specific activities can be booked online at the Electric Summer website. The event is part of a series of new summer attractions in London, including outdoor dining areas and a new food and arts destination in Stratford.
