Costa Del Croydon, the much-loved beach experience atop a South London multi-storey car park, will return this summer from Friday, August 7, to Monday, August 31, 2026. Located on Level 3A of the Centrale and Whitgift Shopping Centre’s rooftop car park, the urban oasis offers free entry with two daily sessions. Pre-bookings open on July 31 via the shopping centre’s website, though walk-ins are also accepted.
Family-friendly seaside fun in Croydon
Since its debut in 2024, Costa Del Croydon has become a hit with families. Children can play in sand, build sandcastles, and enjoy creative workshops, while parents relax with refreshments. The event features food stalls, sweet treat stands, giant chess, fairground rides, a chill-out zone, and shaded areas.
Adults-only beach bar on Thursdays
New for 2026, an adults-only beach bar will run every Thursday from August 13 to August 27, from 5pm to 8pm. Entertainment includes drag-hosted lip sync battles, garage DJ nights, champagne-sipping paint workshops, and musical bingo. According to organisers, this after-work socialising event offers music and creativity against the Croydon skyline.
