James, 40, documented his trip to New York on Instagram, where he responded to a fan who asked how it felt to be one of the few people at a Brazil vs Norway World Cup match who had attended Swift's wedding. 'Really great actually thanks for asking,' James replied. 'Particularly good because Leonardo DiCaprio was at the match looking all smug there in a hospitality box but wasn't at the wedding. That's showbiz Leo!'
The DJ had previously been promised an invitation by Swift during an interview on his Radio 1 show in October 2025, where she quipped that her fiancé would 'do a wrestling move' on him at the wedding. James later shared a photo of himself and his wife, Bella Mackie, 42, at the event, describing it as 'completely insane.'
