Hollywood star Glen Powell has described his shock upon learning that a woman had been eating edible photos of his face every day for 80 days. The Anyone But You and Twisters actor is no stranger to fan adoration, but this unusual display of devotion took him by surprise.
During The Hollywood Reporter Comedy Actor Roundtable, the 37-year-old actor shared the strange story with fellow actors Harrison Ford, Owen Wilson, Zach Braff, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Riz Ahmed. Powell recounted: 'There is a woman in London who has been printing out pictures of my face for the last 80 days and has eaten my face every day. Literally will eat my face until I give her a role in a movie.'
The fan, who goes by the handle @mynameismonique on TikTok, documented her daily ritual. She finally stopped after day 140, when she attended the Running Man premiere in November 2025 and ate a printout of his face in front of him. Powell recalled seeing her on the red carpet and being told about her actions. He said: 'I didn't know this was a thing until it was described to me while I was on the red carpet. They're like, "Hey, the girl that eats your face is on the red carpet." I go, "What are you talking about?"'
Zach Braff, known for his role in Scrubs, was particularly horrified and asked how she gained access to the red carpet. Powell agreed, calling it a 'real liability.'
The roundtable also featured other bizarre fan encounters. Harrison Ford revealed that a fan once loudly announced at an airport: 'My mother wants to sleep with you.' Riz Ahmed shared that a fan chased him down the street after he signed an autograph, yelling that his signature was not authentic.
Powell's story has since gone viral, leaving many amused and bewildered by the lengths some fans will go to for a movie role.
