Channel 4's Winter Paralympics Team: Presenters, Pundits, and Commentators Revealed

The Winter Paralympics are set to commence on Friday night, featuring over 600 athletes from 50 countries competing across nine days of intense action. Team GB, with a squad of 25 athletes, aims to draw inspiration from their Olympic counterparts, who recently secured five medals, including three golds, in one of Britain's most successful Winter Olympic campaigns in history. This follows Beijing 2022, where Great Britain won six medals, with Neil Simpson's gold in the visually-impaired super-G marking only the third time Britain has topped the podium in Winter Paralympic history. Simpson returns for the Milano Cortina Games to defend his title, while athletes like alpine skier Menna Fitzpatrick and snowboarder Ollie Hill hope to boost Great Britain's medal tally.

Channel 4's Paralympics Broadcast Team

For UK viewers, Channel 4 will be the premier destination for live coverage, guided by a talented team of presenters, pundits, and commentators. The daily TV coverage will be fronted by Billy Monger and Ed Jackson. Monger, a former racing driver who lost both legs in a 2017 F4 crash, has become a prominent TV personality, regularly featuring on Channel 4's F1 coverage and holding the record for the fastest Ironman World Championship triathlon completion. Jackson, a former professional rugby union player whose career ended due to a neck injury in 2017, has also transitioned to broadcasting, contributing to Channel 4's rugby and Crufts coverage.

Ade Adepitan, a wheelchair basketball legend turned broadcast veteran, will host Channel 4's daily highlights show. The punditry team includes Dame Sarah Storey, Alice Tai, and Sean Rose. Storey, Britain's most successful Paralympian with 30 medals, including 19 golds in Para-swimming and Para-cycling, brings unparalleled expertise. Tai, a three-time Paralympic gold medallist in Para-swimming, and Rose, a Winter X Games medallist and double Winter Paralympian in Para-skiing, round out the panel. Former Para-skier Jade Etherington, who won three silvers and a bronze at the 2014 Sochi Paralympics, will provide commentary insights.
