Banksy Limitless Exhibition to Temporarily Close for Major Art Expansion

The acclaimed Banksy Limitless exhibition, a cultural highlight in London, is set to undergo a significant transformation with a temporary closure scheduled for next week. This move aims to incorporate more than 30 new artworks into the display, enhancing the visitor experience with fresh and immersive elements.

Closure Details and Relaunch Plans

Based at the West Kensington Sussex Mansions, the exhibition will shut its doors for nine days, starting on Monday, February 23, and reopening on March 4. During this period, extensive work will be carried out to expand and upgrade the space, resulting in a relaunch under the new name, Banksy Limitless: Reframed. This rebranding honors the exhibition's bold new look and expanded offerings.

Since its opening in September 2025, the exhibition has attracted widespread attention, and this upgrade is expected to further solidify its status as a must-see attraction. The temporary closure is a strategic step to ensure a seamless integration of the new additions without disrupting the overall visitor flow.

New Artworks and Enhanced Features

As part of the relaunch, over 30 additional pieces will be introduced, bringing the total number of works on display to more than 280. Key highlights include the iconic Love Plane, originally spray-painted by Banksy in 2011 on the side of Norwich House in Liverpool. This piece will be featured in a newly reimagined setting, adding historical depth to the exhibition.

The upgrade will also feature an expanded Dismaland gallery, paying homage to Banksy's 2015 dystopian theme park project. This section will include new murals, sculptures, and a series of immersive installations designed to engage visitors in a more interactive and thought-provoking manner. Additionally, a larger gallery space will be added to accommodate the growing collection and improve accessibility for art enthusiasts.

Ticket Information and Visitor Experience

Organizers have confirmed that ticket prices will remain unchanged after the relaunch, starting from £20.85 plus a booking fee. Tickets are available for purchase via Fever, ensuring that the enhanced exhibition remains accessible to a broad audience. This decision reflects a commitment to providing value while offering an enriched cultural experience.

The Banksy Limitless: Reframed exhibition promises to deliver a refreshed and dynamic showcase of Banksy's work, blending classic pieces with new additions to create a comprehensive and engaging art journey. Visitors can look forward to exploring the expanded displays and immersive elements that highlight the artist's evolving legacy and impact on contemporary art.
