Swiss chocolate giant Lindt is set to open a brand-new 1,800 square foot Chocolate Shop inside Westfield Stratford City, marking a significant expansion in London just one year after the successful launch of its flagship store in Piccadilly. The opening is scheduled for Friday, March 20, at 10 am, perfectly timed for the Easter season.
A Chocolate Playground for All Senses
The new boutique promises to be a full-blown chocolate playground, designed to delight visitors with a feast for the senses. At the heart of the experience is Lindt's legendary Pick & Mix wall, featuring an impressive 35 different chocolate varieties. This includes exclusive flavours not available elsewhere, such as Choco Wafer, Popcorn, Cherry Blossom, Marc du Champagne, Stracciatella, and Giandujotto, alongside classic favourites.
Indulgent Treats and Personalised Gifting
In addition to the Pick & Mix, the store will house the Lindt Chocolate Bar, where customers can order indulgent treats like CREMA GELATA ice cream made with Lindt chocolate, premium hot chocolates, and rich shakes. For those shopping for Easter or special occasions, a gifting concierge service will offer personalised ribbons and custom tags, elevating gifts beyond standard supermarket offerings.
The opening coincides with the arrival of Lindt's full gold bunny collection, including a giant 1kg bunny for serious Easter celebrations. New seasonal flavours like Crispy Biscuit, Strawberry & Cream, and Salted Caramel will be available, alongside classic Milk, White, and Dark options. Customers can even personalise a GOLD BUNNY tin with their favourite Pick & Mix selections.
Launch Day Celebrations and Free Chocolate
To celebrate the grand opening, Lindt will be handing out Lindor treats to all visitors, with special goodie bags reserved for the first 250 customers who spend £15 or more. In a related celebration, Lindt's Piccadilly flagship store will mark its first birthday on March 21, offering 365 goodie bags to customers who spend £20.
Faythe King, Retail, D2C, and eCommerce Director at Lindt, expressed excitement about the new Stratford location, describing it as a "premium chocolate paradise with a feast for all the senses." This expansion underscores Lindt's commitment to providing immersive chocolate experiences in key London locations, just in time for the festive Easter period.
